Our Panama Canal Cruise Memories

After fourteen fabulous days of cruising, and a total mileage of 4767 nautical miles (5479 statute miles) we arrived in San Diego. All we have left are the fond memories of the places we visited and the people we met on board, including a high school classmate I had not seen in over 40 years. We also visited with a colleague (and former boss) and his wife in Costa Rica who left the San Francisco Bay Area three years ago in their small sailboat!

I have tried to give you an idea of our total experience ... our gratitude goes out to the staff of the ms Oosterdam and Holland America for their superb courtesy and hospitality!
