The year 2006 found Barbara and me revisiting our newest states, Hawaii and Alaska, by way of Holland America's ms Amsterdam and ms Zuiderdam, respectively. In March we took a 15-day cruise from San Diego to the Hawaiian Islands, followed by a 7-day cruise in September from Vancouver, BC to several ports of call along the Alaskan coast.
